How JSON validation works
The validator parses the input using the browser's native JSON parser. Valid JSON requires double-quoted keys and strings, correctly paired brackets and commas in the right places.
Common JSON errors
Trailing commas, single quotes and unquoted property names are common causes of invalid JSON.
